About the author

I love mountains and big open spaces.

My idea of a holiday is going somewhere quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of a city life. Somewhere off the beaten track, and preferably off-grid.

I’m particularly interested in experiencing these locations by bicycle or by foot.

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. This gives me incredible access to the beauties of southern Africa. I have also been fortunate to have travelled to many different parts of the world, but there is still much to do.

My ambition with this website is to inspire fellow adventurers by sharing some of my experiences and learnings.
